Software Engineer Intern

Stripe is looking for passionate Software Engineer Interns to work on real production systems that power millions of businesses worldwide. Interns will collaborate with experienced engineers, contribute to meaningful projects, participate in code reviews, and gain hands-on experience with large-scale distributed systems. Responsibilities: • Build and ship production-quality software • Participate in code reviews and design discussions • Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams • Learn new systems and technologies quickly • Communicate progress effectively Requirements: • Pursuing Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field • Strong computer science fundamentals • Programming experience through coursework, projects, or internships • Ability to learn new technologies and work collaboratively Preferred: Experience with Java, Ruby, JavaScript, Scala, or Go, open-source contributions, and familiarity with software testing and pull requests. · Skills: Java, Ruby, JavaScript, Scala, Go, Data Structures, Algorithms, Computer Science, Software Engineering, System Design, Git, REST APIs, Distributed Systems
