Amazon is hiring Software Development Engineer (SDE) Interns for the 2027 graduating batch. Interns will work with experienced engineers to design, develop, and deliver innovative products and services. Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop software solutions. • Build technologies in large-scale distributed computing environments. • Develop solutions for distributed systems, data storage, indexing, and query processing. • Design scalable, fault-tolerant, low-cost, and maintainable systems. • Solve complex and ambiguous technical problems. • Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software. Eligibility: • Graduation year: 2027. • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. • Knowledge of computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented design, operating systems, data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis. Required Programming Languages: C, C++, Python, Java, or Perl. Preferred Qualifications: • Previous technical internship experience. • Familiarity with distributed systems, algorithms, and relational databases. • Knowledge of linear programming or nonlinear optimization is an advantage. • Strong written and verbal technical communication skills. • Ability to work with ambiguous problems and think analytically. Locations: Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Delhi, Pune, and Chennai.
