Carousell Group is hiring Android Engineer Interns for its mobile engineering team. This is a 6-month internship opportunity to work on Carousell's Android application, building features used by buyers and sellers across Southeast Asia. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build and develop new features for the Carousell Android application. - Write clean, modular and maintainable Kotlin code. - Collaborate with product managers, designers and backend engineers. - Analyse and optimise Android app performance and reliability. - Take ownership of projects from design discussions to implementation and deployment. - Write unit tests and participate in code reviews. - Follow Android design principles and engineering best practices. - Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality. **Eligibility:** - Students pursuing a degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field. - Eligible batches: 2027, 2028 and 2029 graduates (as mentioned in the promotional material). - Experience developing Android applications using Kotlin. - Strong understanding of Android frameworks, best practices and design patterns. - Ability to build stable, high-performance Android applications. - Good problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills. **Required Skills:** Kotlin, Android Development, Android SDK, Android Framework, OOP, Design Patterns, Unit Testing and Git. · Skills: Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, Jetpack, REST APIs, Git, OOP, Data Structures, Algorithms
